The drive into San Agustinillo is beautiful. Really pretty
farms on either side, and there are big hills on either side. The winded road
drops you into a little funky town that hippies have transformed into a
colorful pleasant little beach town. Yoga galore and cafes with fresh juice
and vegetarian food. It is a little paradise, that is a little more expensive
than the rest of Oaxaca, but still cheap for the majority of Mexico.

After seeing so many turtles that we couldn’t take it
anymore we went on to find a place to stay. Nolan found a pace called Bamboo
online, but no one was there when we arrived. Nolan was determined and asked
around. We were told to find Miguel on the red scooter, which just so happens
to be the ride of choice in San Agustinillo.
We finally found him, and got a really insane deal on a
really insane place. The waves were still huge from the passing hurricane, and
Nolan decided to go tackle them. He made it out fine, and caught the first one
he could in because they looked way smaller on the beach.
We made a huge meal and slept. We awoke to a heavy down pour, and sat in bed watching the waves and drinking coffee. It was a treat. We decided that we would have to push on to see more of Oaxaca. I was eager to see some ruins, and the colonial city of Oaxaca.
