La casita

In the new casita, and it feels so good to cook and do some laundry. Nolan has been wearing his clothing for so long it is becoming apart of him.
Our new place is $350 for a month with AC, Internet, washer/dryer and hot water. We are in between two beaches one of which we have not been to yet. The woman who cleans this place, Chela, had the river overflow into her house the other night, during the big lightning storm. Jeana, the landlord of this place, offered her family her house until they figured it out. But they couldn't make it to her house either because the river was blocking it. The poor things.

There are crabs everywhere. I was used to them in costa rica, but I haven't seen them before last night here, and it scared the wits out of me when I closed the screen door and it was stuck to it. Stella said she wants her house back where there aren't crabs. What's the fun in not having crabs? Eh curt?
Thank you so much to Austin Smith for picking up Hazel! She came in 12 hours early and we had to rearrange plans. Thanks for coming through. We would be having a really crap time with out our friends help this past week. It means a lot. We love you all!!
